During its long experience running food tours in Emilia-Romagna, Emilia Delizia has built strong and lasting relationships with some of Italy’s finest food producers. Today, our company aims to leverage these connections by bringing outstanding regional products to London—and from London to the rest of the world.
Why use London as a base for Emilia-Romagna food exports?
London, and the UK as a whole, is a dynamic and receptive market with a continuously growing interest in Italian food. However, while Italian cuisine is widely appreciated, regional Italian food remains largely underexplored.
In London, it is still difficult for the average consumer to move beyond pizza and Chianti. We believe this represents a significant opportunity for high-quality regional products from Emilia-Romagna to find their rightful place in the market.
Our experience and our connections
Since 2008, we have taken food lovers behind the scenes to visit producers of Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, and traditional balsamic vinegar. Over the years, this has allowed us to build a vast network of trusted producers and, more importantly, a deep understanding of these products.
Our vision is to use Emilia Delizia not only as a facilitator for the distribution of exceptional foods, but also as an educational platform. This is the same philosophy that underpins our food experiences, such as our Bologna food tour, where education and tasting go hand in hand.
Our products
We naturally focus on the most iconic products of Emilia-Romagna, such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, and traditional balsamic vinegar. At the same time, we are committed to promoting lesser-known regional specialties, including artisanal breads, cakes, jams, preserves, and the majestic Lambrusco wines.
Please refer to our catalogue of foods for a full overview of our selection.
Parmigiano Reggiano
Parmigiano Reggiano is one of the most quintessential Italian cheeses of all time. We are proud exporters and distributors of this extraordinary product, and we also offer a range of derived products, including cheese creams and spreads.
Prosciutto di Parma
Prosciutto di Parma is one of the most recognised Italian food products worldwide. Emilia Delizia acts as an exporter and distributor and can connect clients directly with carefully selected producers.
Balsamic vinegar of Modena
Balsamic vinegars from Modena and Reggio Emilia are unique products that have helped put Emilia-Romagna on the global culinary map. We offer a curated range of traditional high-quality balsamic vinegars as well as premium balsamic condiments.
Fruit and vegetable preserves
Emilia-Romagna is internationally renowned for its cuisine. Our selection of high-grade fruit and vegetable preserves is designed to meet the standards of high-end kitchens and specialty retailers.
Fresh egg pasta
Fresh egg pasta is one of the region’s signature culinary traditions. We export and distribute high-quality tortellini, tortelloni, and tagliatelle, made according to authentic local methods.
Food education & presentation
Through our presence in London, Emilia Delizia aims to bridge a significant knowledge gap in the market. Educating consumers about how and where food is produced leads to a deeper appreciation of what we eat and drink.
This educational approach has been central to our work for years through our tours in Italy. Now, instead of bringing people to Emilia-Romagna, Emilia Delizia is bringing the best of Emilia-Romagna to London.
Are you looking to sell your Italian products in the UK, abroad, or worldwide?
If you are a producer of high-quality Italian food products, we would be delighted to hear from you. Emilia Delizia operates both in Italy and in London, offering international promotion and communication in English and other languages to help your brand gain visibility abroad.
The UK remains an excellent testing ground for English-speaking markets. Thanks to shared regulatory frameworks, products can be introduced efficiently and then scaled to more distant markets such as Australia, New Zealand, North America, and South Africa.
