Emilia-Romagna is the heartland of Italy’s Motor Valley — Ferrari, Maserati, and Pagani all have their roots within an hour of Bologna. These three tours visit the factories and museums behind the legend, with the option to combine them with the region’s other great obsession: food. All tours include return transport and are fully inclusive from €250 per person.
Tour 1: Ferrari Museums and Lambrusco Lunch

A full day built around both Ferrari museums, with lunch at an organic Lambrusco winery between them. The morning starts at the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena — the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari himself — covering the history of the marque through original cars, engines, and archival material. From there, a short drive to an organic agriturismo for a farmer’s brunch: hand-carved cured meats, aged Parmigiano, sourdough focaccia, and a glass of classic-method Lambrusco at the estate that produces it. The afternoon continues to Maranello and the Ferrari Museum, which holds the largest collection of Ferrari road and racing cars, the Formula 1 archive, and views over the Fiorano test track.
What’s included
- Return transport from Bologna or Modena
- Enzo Ferrari Museum, Modena — entry ticket and guided visit
- Farmer’s brunch at an organic Lambrusco winery (cured meats, cheeses, focaccia, wine)

Tour 2: Parmigiano Reggiano Dairy and Ferrari Maranello

For guests who want to combine Emilia-Romagna’s two most famous exports in a single day. The morning visits a working Parmigiano Reggiano dairy — a small family caseificio rather than an industrial facility — to watch the full production process from fresh milk to the ageing cellars, finishing with a tasting across different maturation stages. The afternoon is given over entirely to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello: road cars, racing cars, the F1 collection, and the history of the company from 1947 to the present day.
What’s included
- Return transport from Bologna or Modena
- Parmigiano Reggiano dairy — full production visit and tasting
- Ferrari Museum, Maranello — entry ticket and guided visit

Tour 3: Maserati, Pagani and Lamborghini — Choose Two

The most specialist of the three — for guests who already know Ferrari and want to go deeper into Motor Valley. This tour is built around two stops chosen from three options: the Maserati factory in Modena, the Pagani Museo in San Cesario sul Panaro, and the Lamborghini factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese. You choose the combination that suits you when you enquire.
The three options

- Pagani Museo, San Cesario sul Panaro — Huayra and Zonda lines, original sketches and prototypes; access arranged through Modentur

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do the Motor Valley tours take?
All three tours are full-day experiences departing from Bologna or Modena, running approximately 7–9 hours including transport. Return transport is included throughout.
What is the difference between the Enzo Ferrari Museum and the Ferrari Museum?
The Enzo Ferrari Museum is in Modena, in the building where Enzo Ferrari was born. It covers the history of the man and the company through original cars, engines, and archival material. The Ferrari Museum in Maranello, 20 km away, holds the main collection of road and racing cars, the Formula 1 archive, and is adjacent to the Fiorano test track. Tour 1 visits both in a single day.
How far is Maranello from Bologna?
Maranello is approximately 45 minutes by car from Bologna, around 55 km. All tours include return transport from your hotel or the train station — you do not need to arrange your own travel.
Can you visit the Pagani factory?
Yes, but access is strictly limited. The Pagani Museo in San Cesario sul Panaro can be visited by appointment, arranged through Modentur. Numbers are small and slots fill quickly, especially in summer. Enquire at least two to three weeks in advance.
How difficult is it to book the Lamborghini factory tour?
Lamborghini factory visits are among the hardest to secure in Motor Valley — availability is tightly controlled and demand is high. Enquire as early as possible. If we cannot secure a Lamborghini slot for your dates, we will suggest an alternative combination from the three options in Tour 3.
Are museum entry tickets included in the price?
Yes. All entry tickets, guided visits, and return transport are included. Tours start from €250 per person, all inclusive.
